Despite the lack of people showing up to buy the latest iPhones in London, the reception of the devices was strong. Most of the clients with whom CNBC has serviced in London were willing to buy the iPhone XS Max which starts at £ 1,099 in the UK and $ 1,099 in the US.
Many people in the queue said the price was not a concern because of the importance of the smartphone in the world today.
"You use your phone every day, you see it every time", Gowrishankar Palanivel, a buyer who was in line since Thursday night told CNBC.
