Kalypso dropped the beta version of Tropico 6, but only for those who pre-order the game through its shop. A beta version of Steam was announced in August, but it does not have a date yet.

Tropico 6, whose release is scheduled for January 2019, is the latest in the series, but its developer is different from the last three games. German developers Limbic Entertainment took over from Bulgarian Haemimont Games. The last entry in the series highlights some key features, such as the serial reworking of multi-island archipelagos that focus on public transit systems, including bridges, tunnels and the public transport.

Tropico 6 focuses again on the character of the player – the dictator El Presidente – with customizable outfits, palaces, election speeches and more. Of course, these features come back to the classic City-Builder series game, such as import management, housing construction and the ability for dissidents to shoot on the street.

In addition, there is this trailer in action totally absurd about it:

Tropico 6 is due out on January 29, 2019. He is in the Kalypso store here and on Steam If you prefer to wait for the beta.
