Diablo 3Blizzard
The BlizzCon is still about a month away, but the new calendar of the event seems to indicate that the show's star this year will not be Eve or Warcraftbut instead a Blizzard series that has been dormant for a while now, Diablo.
Diablo 3 and its extension, Reaper of Souls, is extremely well sold on PC and with a surprisingly good adaptation of the console. A second development has however been split into patch content and the game is somehow kept alive since, with small seasonal events coming and going. . But that's because Blizzard is working on something else, and many other things.
The BlizzCon program has just been released, and not only is there a sign on "Diablo's Future", but it's about the panel right after the ceremony. opening, which implies that something big is going to be announced there, and I would be surprised that it's something else than Diablo 4, true continuation of the D3 of 2012, which, in 2019, would be a pause of seven years between the two.

I wonder if we could see a new Diablo title that is also playable on mobile, Fortnite style, since this kind of thing feels like where the games are headed these days, and Diablo Loot farming is the ideal type of "take-away" activity, as long as it can do so so that the mobile controls are not terrible.
We will know more in a month when Blizzard will come on the scene with what is clearly a very big announcement. Whatever happens, I can not wait.
