The doors of Mega Man 11 are completely fucked and I do not know what is real

the Mega Man 11 demo released on the Nintendo switch yesterday and while it feels mostly old-fashioned Mega Man, a small change to the way the doors work somehowMega Man.

If you have already played a Mega Man game, you probably jumped into a boss door at some point, either by design or by accident. Even since 1987 Mega Man, the doors worked strangely. They essentially trigger points that trigger a transition to the next screen when you touch them. Hit the door and the screen scrolls to the right and into the next room. Scrolling also carries Mega Man on the screen, no matter where it is. It meant that you could jump to a door and be dragged in the air in the boss room. It sounded a bit silly, but if you're like me, you probably did a lot. In fact, let's be honest, this is the only way to go through the doors of the bosses.

But if you jump into the boss's door leading to the fight with Block Man in the Mega Man 11 demo, you are disappointed. Instead of getting lost in the room, Mega Man drops to the ground and crosses the open door. Where is it fun? Door shenanigans are a staple of the series Mega Man X games too. Even when the corridors became smaller and there was practically no room to jump, you could still do the odd doorbell.

It's funny to see how something so small can make things feel less "mega-man". Jumping into doors like a drug and getting shot in the air is part of the series at this point. If I do not have that, and I only have one game with pellets and robots, how can I really know Mega Man Thu? Since Mega Man 11 is still in development, hopefully this is corrected before its release on October 2nd.
