The fandom Super Mario continues to be ruthlessly excited

Welcome to Fav'd For Later, a Friday tour on our memes, trends and quality internet content. This week, the Internet asks: is it your queen?

When is the Super Mario the fandom is so excited? Has it always been so? Did everyone lose their heads when we saw Mario's nipples? I did not start this fire. I'm just here to fan his flames.

Earlier this month, Nintendo held a live presentation where she learned that Toadette can turn into a Princess Peach character (properly named Peachette) when she wears the Super Crown. Webcomic Author haniwa applied this logic to Bowser, and so Bowsette was born.

It's hard to determine why Bowsette is so popular – is it the Gothic appeal of a queen that looks like a peach? Did we all want to hit Bowser all this time? – but loyal subjects continue to refine its design through the art of fans. A modder has created a playable version for Super Mario 64. The cosplay community has kindly embraced her. And everyone, too, apparently. Metro points out that YouPorn and Pornhub searches for Bowsette have grown exponentially, you know, zero.

Long live the queen.

Somewhere else…

Gabriel Gundacker is here to save us with healthy content. Zendaya is Meechee, but Gundacker is the creator of a strong post-vine. FYI, the Internet loves this video so much that they are starting to recreate it.

I had used to think that moths were cute flying fuzz muffins. No more! They are the size of a palm tree! Apparently, when you capture them in a photo while they lovingly watch a lampyou get a damn picture … that everyone has transformed in the same way.

In fact, I hate that one. I hate it more than the muppet of thirsty hair now claimed by the Philadelphia Flyers as a mascot.

In other news, Will Smith jumped to the elastic of a helicopter. Despite my Final destination-esque predictions, he's fine!

See, watching Will do it, it's like doing it yourself. We can all retire now. May your weekend be as magical as that of the famous personality of Twitter, Brother Nature, who recently held a laziness for the first time.
