At Microsoft's X018 conference, the company announced the first major expansion of Forza Horizon 4. The DLC is calling Fortune Island and its launch is scheduled for December 13th. It allows you to sail through the UK but takes you to some of the northern British Isles with rugged mountains and dangerous times like thunderstorms. The new setting does not lack quiet charm, as you can admire the northern lights.
Of course, Fortune Island will join a new set of cars to drive. The game has already begun to deploy the five Ford vehicles of the video series GymkhanaTEN, made to measure. Car Pass members can already purchase the Ford GymkhanaTEN 1977, F-150 Hoonitruck and 1993 Ford Escort Cosworth. Later this month, they will also be able to purchase the 1965 and 2017 Ford Hoonicorn Mustang V2s, followed by the 2016 Ford GymkhanaTEN Focus RS RX in December.
Fortune Island is part of the $ 35 expansion package, which is available to Ultimate Edition owners at no extra charge. If you are a Game Pass subscriber, you already have access to Forza Horizon 4 as part of your subscription and you can get extensions as a bundle or individually at 10% discount.
Defining the expansion in the rocky north should prove a challenge for experienced runners, especially considering the game's striking feature, the change of season. GameSpot's Forza Horizon 4 magazine revealed that seasons had a real impact on gameplay and contributed to the variety of race types.
