Blizzard first started teasing a team with Lego for Overwatch in August, and now – after a brief CGI teaser featuring a Tracer figurine – the two companies unveiled the first set: a buildable version of the robotic hero Bastion.
Lego Bastion is a set of 182 pieces that includes the character's "Omnic Crisis Orange" skin, as well as a "functional" submachine gun that can fire small Lego bricks into a room for realism. Unfortunately, it does not seem like you can convert the whole thing into tank or assault tank modes with the turret-style turret, but given the creativity of the whole of the Lego community, it will probably not be long before calculating a custom build for these alternative modes.
More importantly, the Lego Bastion also comes with a Lego version of Ganymede, the companion of the Bastion's birds, which is simply adorable.
The Omnic Bastion Set is a limited edition set that will sell for $ 25 exclusively in the Blizzard Online Store – and with Blizzcon just around the corner, there's a good chance that more Overwatch Lego sets will be available soon.
