The Fortnite Glider Redeployment Mechanism is removed from the default game modes

In the Fortnitemares Update v6.20, Epic allowed for the redeployment of the glider in all Fortnite game modes, which means that players can remove their glider at any time, provided they have three units or more. What had to be a week-long test was extended to two, the players at once furious and celebrate the huge buff to mobility.

But today, Epic said it was canceling the redeployment change of the glider in tomorrow's v6.30 update, limiting it to the major team play modes where it had been designed. This is not necessarily the last time we can redeploy gliders in solos, duets or squads by default. Epic says a lack of communication and speed to reduce gas. "We did not meet our expectations for a quick iteration of the mechanism and communication plans."

That's enough. I myself am a big fan of the redeployment of gliders. We can talk about balance all day long, but it's basically more fun to navigate this huge map, and I think Epic remembers it. But I see how such a rapid and major change has disrupted the existing playing styles too violently. As fast as Epic Epic has been iterative on Fortnite, it had to react even faster to the abusive or frustrating playing styles that arise from the ability to creep in or out of fighting at will, which was not the case. I am convinced that the redeployment of gliders can work once the objects or abilities have been introduced to make each jump more risky, but I can at least fly over Disco Domination as I see fit, dreaming of a better world.
