To no one's surprise, Fortnite bring back their Halloween event. After referring to the event through a series of cryptic tweets (including the revelation of this cool Speed of arachnidEpic announced the event in his speech on the state of development this month.
As in last year's event, you will go to Hexsylvania to tackle the quest series of Vlad Moon Rising. Even if you played at the event last year, there will be some "changes", according to the developers. Expect costumes and cosmetics with Halloween themes. The event has not started yet, but should be posted quite quickly.
In addition to the Halloween party announcement, Epic has also taken the opportunity to familiarize its fans with the Save the World mode, which is the player-versus-environment mode that stands out from the crowd. Battle Royale that we know and love (well, some do). It's also the one you have to pay to play. Epic will hesitate to switch to the free-to-play model for Save the World, because of "a wide range of features, rework and scaling backend system that we believe are needed to be able to play free.
Elsewhere, fans can look forward to improvements in the user interface and an updated Hero system. Both projects are still in development and should be deployed "in the coming months".
