The infamous Purple Cube fell into Loot Lake around 4 pm EDT and was immediately immersed in the water. When the harmful form began to flow, violet smoke emerged from the surface. Once completely covered, Loot Lake itself adopted the bouncing properties of the cube and even changed color. Nothing happens if the lake is shot down, but it helps you to take some time if you need it. Watch a full video of the event above.
The rumor of Lake Loot evaporation has been rumored since the beginning of September, and today's events suggest that past leaks regarding the start of season 6 may be accurate. Information from the leaks suggests that Loot Lake could be turned into a volcano-lava lake and that it would gradually become a futuristic city. Other places, like the Wailing Woods bunker, should turn into theme restaurants. More importantly, it is suggested that players can use the Cube's energy to teleport to the Dark World, a place where all players are invisible to each other.
Fortnite is fast access on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile.
