The phone call continues, while Google seems to be preparing to announce the Pixel 3 and 3 XL.

Google unveiled Thursday its next phones with a page containing a large "3" in the middle. And on Friday, she launched an interactive page on her Japanese site with the outlines of a phone, accompanied by the phrase "Coming Soon," reported 9to5 Google.

On the interactive page, if you click on the "G" symbol on the phone, you see three versions of the animation, one gray, the other black and a new mint green color. The gray and green versions also have teal reflections.

This comes after the search giant has announced that it will hold an event on Oct. 9 in New York at 2 pm. ET and 11 hours PT. You can join us to watch the live event. We expect to see Pixels 3 and 3 XL on the event, as well as other materials.

There has been a lot of leaks about Google's upcoming Pixel phones. The new phone has appeared on trains in Toronto, all over Russia, on the Ukrainian black market and on the back of a Lyft car. The phone will probably use Android Pie, the latest mobile operating system from Google, right out of the box.

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Apple launched Wednesday a trio of phones – the iPhone XR, the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max – which officially replace the iPhone X. The iPhone XS Max, starting at $ 1,099, features a 6.5-inch OLED display, which gives it the largest screen available on all iPhones. The iPhone XR is a cheaper, more colorful phone, with some compromises. It starts at $ 799.
