The iPhone XS Max Apple has a useful feature that you will not find on the iPhone XS – BGR

There are so many reasons why the Apple iPhone 2018 range is different from its iPhones in the past. First of all, this is the first time Apple has added a third "R" option to its lineup. Of course, we've seen a lot of "S" updates in the past, but "R" is new. By the way, you might be wondering why Apple chose the letter "R" to refer to the iPhone XR. Nobody knows for sure, but I think the answer is probably much worse than you've ever considered: it's the letter that comes before "S." But it's neither here nor there.

Apple also launched three new iPhone models in 2017, but two of them were iterative updates to the iPhone 7/7 Plus, which were iterative upgrades to the iPhone 6s / 6s Plus, Iterative upgrades of the iPhone 6/6 Plus. In 2018, Apple introduces three new iPhone models with similar designs and features, and all three adopt Apple's new design identity. As for the new exciting features, well, there are not really any.

The absence of any brand feature on the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Plus has been the subject of heated debate since the announcement of the launch of the phones earlier this month. I've already weighed on the subject. There is no doubt that the iPhone XS and XS Max are the smallest "S" updates we have ever seen. There is no doubt that for most iPhone users – whoever literally owns an iPhone model other than iPhone X from last year – the iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max will be the most important up to date the history of the iPhone.

In terms of the differences between the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max, there is really no other thing than size. The Max has a 6.5 inch OLED screen while the iPhone XS has a 5.8 inch screen, and the biggest phone obviously has a bigger battery. Apple has used a few features to separate conventional iPhones from Plus models on occasion in the past. Examples include the inclusion of optical image stabilization on a Plus phone before it arrives on a smaller iPhone model and the dual-lens camera on the iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 8 More.

This is not the case this time. The iPhone XS Max has no notable features that you will not find on the small iPhone XS. However, some feature anomalies can be detected if you explore enough, and a new one was discovered this week.

As noted by 9to5Mac, the iPhone XS Max has an accessibility feature that people loved about previous iPhone models, but was missing last year on the iPhone X: Zoom display. By enabling the feature during initial iPhone setup or at any time later in the phone's accessibility settings, the screen appears larger, making it easier to see. Like the iPhone X, the feature is still missing from the iPhone XS. It is back on the iPhone XS Max, so users who opt this year for the phablet Apple will expand the content of their screens by activating the Settings> Display and brightness> Display.
