Apple updated its iWork suite on iOS and MacOS on Monday with several new enhancements and features designed for their latest operating systems, including support for Siri shortcuts on iOS and dark mode on Mac.
On iOS, the main features include support for Siri shortcuts and dynamic type for adjusting font settings, while Mac users benefit from support for the new Mojave dark mode.
Here are the full release notes:
Pages 4.2 (iOS)
- Animate your drawings and watch them come to life in a document or book.
- When you use Smart Annotation, the lines connecting the text to the annotations in the side margins stretch and move with the changes.
- Annotations are now anchored to cells in the table.
- Easily save drawings in photos or files or share them with others.
- Support for Siri shortcuts. Requires iOS 12.
- Adjust the line spacing before and after a paragraph and set the width of the text columns.
- Pages now supports dynamic type.
- Improve your documents with a variety of new editable forms.
- Improved performance and stability.
Keynote 4.2 (iOS)
- Adjust the text size in the presenter's notes and invert the colors during the presentation.
- Easily save drawings in photos or files or share them with others.
- Support for Siri shortcuts. Requires iOS 12.
- Keynote now supports dynamic type.
- Improve your presentations with a variety of new editable shapes.
- Improved performance and stability.
Numbers 4.2 (iOS)
- Use smart categories to quickly organize and summarize tables to get new information.
- Group your data based on unique values and date ranges, including day of the week, day, week, month, quarter, and year.
- Instantly displays the number, subtotals, average, maximum and minimum of columns in each group.
- Create graphs of your summarized data.
- Easily rearrange categories to see your data differently.
- Easily save drawings in photos or files or share them with others.
- Support for Siri shortcuts. Requires iOS 12.
- Numbers now supports dynamic type.
- Improve your spreadsheets with a variety of new editable shapes.
- Improved performance and stability.
Pages 7.2 (Mac)
- Easily record, edit and listen to audio files directly on a page.
- Dark mode support gives the pages a dramatic dark look. Toolbars and menus are displayed in the background so you can focus on your content. Requires MacOS Mojave.
- Continuity Support The camera allows you to take a picture or scan a document with your iPhone and display it automatically in your document on your Mac. Requires MacOS Mojave and iOS 12.
- Improve your documents with a variety of new editable forms.

Keynote 8.2 (Mac)
- Dark mode support gives Keynote a dramatic dark look. Toolbars and menus are displayed in the background so you can focus on your content. Requires MacOS Mojave.
- Continuity Camera support allows you to take a photo or scan a document with your iPhone and automatically display it in your presentation on your Mac. Requires MacOS Mojave and iOS 12.
