The BlizzCon is underway and, as part of the annual Blizzard Conference, has again announced new events within Overwatch. Although the studio warned that we would not see a new card during the event, he took the opportunity to introduce his latest playable character: Ashe, who debuted at the McCree short film .

As detailed in the animated short, Ashe is the leader of the Deadlock gang and a former friend of McCree's. She appears to be a hyper mobile hero using a rifle and a sawed-off shotgun, as well as dynamite, on which she seems to be able to shoot in the air to make her explode with good hour. Its mobility, meanwhile, comes from a jump in the kind of rocket similar to a tournament of Quake and Unreal, executed by shooting the shotgun on the ground. Its ultimate is to call on Bob, a powerful and powerful member of the Deadlock gang who gives him the fire. According to the game director, Jeff Kaplan, Ashe is a character of very high mechanics, which should require a lot of time and effort to learn. Watch the gameplay video to see it in action.

Kaplan said the team will unveil more details on how Ashe is playing in Overwatch: What's Next, which will take place later today. If you want more narrative context for it, be sure to watch "Reunion", the McCree animation short.

The new character joins other recent additions this year, Wrecking Ball and Brigitte. More recently, Blizzard has made balance adjustments for Mercy, Reaper, Symmetra and Roadhog. Roadhog has had the most dramatic changes, with some big buffs at its chain hook and a better spread pattern to its Scrap Gun. Everything was meant to make it better for crowd control by making his traps work more consistently.
