New League of Legends champion Neeko is an upbeat shapeshifter who reminds me of one of my favorite superheroes, Squirrel Girl. But instead of a squirrel, it's a chameleon. She is also the last LGBTQ character to join the game. Check out her trailer above.
Neeko's abilities on the battlefield include a liability that allows him to become an allied champion, although the disguise can be broken if attacked or attacked. It seems that this opens the door to very intelligent strategies.

Technically, she is not the first LGBTQ champion, as Varus account, I guess? I mean, it's a fusion of two lovers and a dark spirit, so he'd probably rather not label it. This was part of a traditional reshuffle for Varus.
League of Legends champions have detailed backgrounds, but these elements are often not part of the game itself. So it's nice to see that Riot does not play a J.K. Rowling by just saying that a character is LGBTQ and that this subtly changes his interactions with other champions.
