The PC version of PlayerUnknown's battlegrounds has a new update that adds content and fixes a lot of bugs in the game. Update 21 implements a new mode, weapon, vehicle, attachment. Weapon, a reward system to fulfill certain criteria during matches and multiplayer improvements.
Update 21 adds a new training mode that allows you to practice different mechanisms without fear of being killed. Running on a small island – only 200×200 km – the training mode contains 14 zones to test different skills. You can practice jumping in vehicles, maneuvering on winding roads, controlling the speed of the vehicle, driving a boat, driving on different shooting ranges, parachuting, rolling over armed roofs, trying different grenades and learning the effects of consumables.
The three cards receive the new assault rifle from the MK47 mutant. The rifle takes 7.62 rounds and contains 20 rounds per clip. The rifle can be shot in single or double shot mode and takes almost all types of rifle attachment other than inventory.
Sanhok gets a new exclusive vehicle: the three-person Tukashai. It's slow but it's better off-road than motorcycles.
Update 21 adds a lot more to the game, including a system of goals where you are rewarded for certain tasks during matches – like reviving teammates a number of times or inflicting a certain amount of damage with an attack . There is also a new laser sight that fits into the slot of the rifle grip. It offers greater accuracy at the cost of giving up your position. You can also place markers on your compass, which is also reflected in the compass of your teammates. This helps you more effectively determine the direction of a threat when your team is stationed at different points on the map.
All changes are described in more detail in the full patch notes on the PUBG Steam page. If you're just interested in bug fixes, we've listed them below.
This update is only available on the PC version of PUBG, but the Battle Royale game is also available for Xbox One. PUBG has just been officially launched on Xbox One with its 1.0 update, which has added the Sanhok map and weather conditions.
