Information about the highly anticipated Resident Evil 2 Remake keeps pouring in and many horror fans are eager to see all the delightful touch that Capcom reserves for our beloved franchise. While the Tokyo Game Show is in full swing in Japan, enthusiastic fans still waiting for the "no" remake have just received a new treat. A new video has been unveiled and offers us an amazing first look at the new version of Ada Wong!

There is a lot to be done with this new trailer and a lot familiar faces! Not only do we see once again the mutated form of William Birkin mutated, but these fucking dogs are also making their comeback! The latest video brings back the thrills that longtime fans retain from the original but with breathtaking new details thanks to the modern game design.

So why the redesign? The game director met Eurogamer earlier this year to discuss why we remember so many variations in the characters.

"It comes down to the same thing, what would it seem natural to walk in a photorealistic environment?" He added, "I think walking around this dress just to keep working as a spy does not seem as realistic and believable as we want in this new game."

According to the creative team at the beginning of the month, the use of models pushed them to change their approach to the game. Instead of being content with another remake, the team instead decided to make an action movie to full share. This makes sense with the surge of motion capture and the desire for more realistic mechanics. Due to the use of modeling, this is the main reason for the different aesthetic that many people have seen with the characters during the revelation of the great E3 2018.

The same reasoning is at the base of Claire and Leon's new designs, as many have noticed their different physical form and more structural facial features.
