We may be in the middle of a season, but Fortnite is teasing the next "Fortnitemares" event in the game, as if it looked like a new season launch with a series of teasers, the second of which was dropped today. # 39; hui.
Fortnite has released the image above on social media this morning, with another nursery rhyme:
The tombstones are shaking,
Keep your finger steady.
The circle will close,
Better to be ready.
"Tombstone tomb" could be a reference to the return of the zombie skin "Ghoul Trooper", also teased in the rhyme of yesterday because I'm not sure what could come from the dead (mummies? ). Keep your finger firm and the circle will close seems to refer to the more traditional Fortnite mechanics, ie. Shoot and escape the shrunken circle, although I wonder if "the circle will close" could have something to do with the cube and its runes.
This would make sense, since you can see that the image part of the teaser is that of a chained runic cube. It's not "the" cube, the big one that rolled around the map last season and that floats under Loot Lake Island this season, but it's a cube form with l & rsquo; One of the eight runes on it all the same, and the big cube The Island appears as if it was returning to Loot Lake to do something that could coincide with the launch of the Fortnitemares event.

For my money, my main assumption about the chained cube is that it is backwards. Chains would tie it to the back of a character, and that does not really look like good shape to be a potential mining exploration tool, although, obviously, it's getting a little weird . It could even be the backward blur of skin that we saw yesterday teasing, a male undead cowboy who looked like a cross between Calamity Skin and Ghoul Trooper.
I do not know how many teasers we will see before Fortnitemares starts up itself. If we judge by the teasers of last season, it's about 3-4 before a full unveiling / launch. A patch should arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday, the weekly challenge being reset Thursday, so I guess it will be either October 24th or 25th, which would be exactly one week before Halloween on October 31st.
Another theory is that this enchained cube might not be a cosmetic product at all. If Fortnitmares introduces a new LTM, which will certainly be the case, it could be "carrying the Runic Cube from X to Y" or something like that, I suppose.
Be that as it may, I always love Fortnite teasing things, and for once, many of these things do not seem to have been archived in advance. the next patch, at least.
