The new update Fortnite 6.22 goes into production on Tuesday

Epic has announced that the next Fortnite update will go live on Tuesday, November 6th. The game will experience downtime while updating update 6.22, which is scheduled to start at 1am / 4am / 9am.

As with previous Fortnite updates, Epic will release the full release notes for Update 6.22 the day it is released. If the developer follows the same pattern as the latest patches, the ratings will be published just prior to Fortnite's planned downtime. We will update this article once the patch notes are released.

Although this has not been confirmed, it is probably safe to assume that Fortnite's latest weapon, the heavy assault rifle, is part of this new update. The Heavy AR seems to be based on AK real life guns and inflict serious damage when fired in short, concentrated bursts. Epic has not announced when the new weapon will be added to Fortnite, but his recent tease suggests that it will be part of the 6.22 update.

Fortnitemares, as well as the challenges and rewards associated with the event, officially ended last week. The event of limited duration ended with another strange phenomenon in the game where the huge purple cube transported players to another realm. Even though the alarm season is over, the challenges of Season 6 still offer several spooky rewards if you cling to the spirit of Halloween. If you unlock the Season 6 Legendary Dire Wolf skin, for example, your game character will become more like a wolf at each higher level.

Fortnite is available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Mobile. The game supports cross play on all platforms.
