The updated Windows 10 October 2018 update continues to be a problem for users, with the latest issue of Apple iCloud.
The problem affects the latest version of iCloud for Windows (7.7.0.27) and is causing issues with updating and syncing shared albums. In addition, if you try to install iCloud on a system running Windows 10 1809, the installation will fail.

Users who are trying to install iCloud for Windows (version 7.7.0.27) under Windows 10, version 1809, will see a message stating that this version of iCloud for Windows is not supported and that the installation will fail.
To ensure a seamless experience, Microsoft blocks the blocking of devices that have the iCloud software for Windows (version 7.7.0.27) installed until this problem is resolved.
The software giant is currently working with Apple to provide a compatible version of iCloud for Windows 10 1809 in a future release.
