The next Samsung Galaxy seems too strange to be real

[ad_1]

This morning, new details were released showing the latest Samsung Galaxy smartphone in (almost) all its glory. This smartphone has at least one camera on the front, as usual, but FOUR cameras at the back. These cameras are all placed over an LED flash and close to a centered fingerprint scanner. The details describe a phone that looks more like a conceptual industrial design at an early stage than a final product.

These renderings are not official – they are made by AllAboutSamsung and were posted long ago on Instagram. It's just the idea that there are four cameras, all of the same size (at least at first glance), sitting on the back of this smartphone … It just seems like I look at something that has never been designed to be real. world.

This is the Samsung Galaxy A9, a smartphone intended to be launched as a "mid-range handset". The commercials of the event on which this device will be unveiled suggest "4x entertainment" as well as "more ways to express themselves than ever before". We are also watching this phone for clues as to what's next for Samsung's next big band. smartphone: the Galaxy S10.

According to T3, the "supply chain sources" confirm that the four cameras are:

• 24 megapixel camera f / 1.7
• f / 2.4 wide-angle lens for 8 megapixel camera (120˚ fov)
• f / 2.4 telephoto lens for 10 megapixel camera *
• 5 megapixel camera f / 2.2 "deep objective"

The telephoto lens of the 10MP camera is supposed to allow the optical zoom feature, much like the previous lenses for smartphones with 2x optical zoom from Samsung. We have already seen these specs – but not with a set of renderings like these. Now more than ever, it seems that Samsung is engaged in a total war against its competitors by attrition – more is better!

These devices – the iterations of the Samsung Galaxy A9 – will probably be revealed here one day. They will more than likely be published internationally and will not reach the United States without going through third-party sources. A 4x phone equipped with Samsung cameras will not be delivered to the US until Samsung is ready to promote it with all the power of its Galaxy advertising system – probably in early 2019.
