Nintendo has introduced a ton of upcoming Switch titles during its latest Nintendo Direct presentation. Among the many games we saw during the broadcast, there was Yoshi for Switch, which now goes by the name of Crafted World of the new nickname Yoshi.

Yoshi's Crafted World, revealed for the first time at E3 2017, is a side-scrolling platform game developed by Good-Feel, the studio behind Woolly World of Yoshi for Wii U and Epic Yarn for Kirby's Wii. Like these titles, it presents a beautiful craft aesthetic, passing Yoshi through levels built from paper cups, cardboard boxes and other materials.

As in a traditional Yoshi platformer, the dino can swallow enemies and turn them into eggs, which can then be cast on other enemies. You will also need to use eggs to solve some environmental puzzles. In the new images shared by Nintendo, Yoshi threw an egg into a cardboard house, which was then opened to create a new path. You will also be able to flip some steps and tilt them to reveal a new perspective.

Yoshi's Crafted World is launched for the Nintendo Switch in the spring of 2019. Like Woolly World, the game also supports two-player multiplayer; a partner will be able to accompany you as Yoshi of different color using a second Joy-Con.

Nintendo announced many other new games and details during its latest presentation, including Luigi's Mansion 3 and Animal Crossing for Switch. Do not forget to check out the full coverage of GameSpot on the September Nintendo Direct below for more details and gameplay footage of the presentation.
