The Nissan Rogue Sport 2019 adds little to its window sticker

Nissan quietly updated its compact Rogue Sport midway through the 2018 model year, adding a host of security systems. For the 2019 model year, this trend continues with even more technology, but that does not affect much the bottom line.

The Nissan Rogue Sport 2019 is already on sale at dealerships. The updates for the 2019 model year include a new audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to Rear door alert security system, which alerts you if you are about to leave something in the back seat after turning off the car. ProPilot Assist, a driver assistance suite that will center the vehicle in its lane on the highway, is also available.

A front-wheel-drive Rogue Sport S will cost you $ 22,240, $ 130 more than the 2018.5 model. The addition of all-wheel drive to this trim (or another) will result in an additional markup of $ 1,350. Standard equipment includes LED high beams and satellite radio. Unfortunately, Nissan's active and passive driver aids are not available for the basic S version.

Upgrade to the Rogue Sport SV version, starting at $ 24,040, and you can add ProPilot Assist as an option, and all that good security kit becomes standard. The SV trim also benefits from automatic climate control, keyless access and 17-inch alloy wheels for a slightly sportier look. The premium Rogue Sport SL trim complies with the ProPilot Assist standard and also includes heated leather front seats, remote engine start and integrated navigation. This one will cost you $ 27,960 with front wheel drive.

As in previous Rogue Sport models, the powertrain includes a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter I4, with a horsepower of 141 horsepower and a torque of 147 lb-ft, all going through a continuously variable transmission. Check out the full price list below.
