OnePlus 6T could be in your hands thanks to the LabPlus Lab program. The Shenzhen-based company has relaunched the initiative – originally launched in May 2016 – aimed at giving some customers quick access to OnePlus 6T. Interested buyers should ask the program to use the next OnePlus flagship product before launching and write a detailed community report. The company will select 10 of the world's top candidates to receive a OnePlus 6T evaluation unit. The smartphone is expected to be launched Oct. 17, according to an Indian invitation leaked with some improvements over the OnePlus 6. Among the new features, a new teaser from the company has reiterated the new fingerprint scanner built into the OnePlus model.

The registration window for The Lab OnePlus 6T Edition is open until 8am HKT (18h30 H30) on October 8th. Simply fill out a form with the details required to participate in the program. OnePlus will select 10 participants who will have the opportunity to use the OnePlus 6T before its public release. "Once selected, we will send you an evaluation unit of the OnePlus 6T and you will be among the first to receive the OnePlus 6T worldwide," said the OnePlus team in a forum message.

It should be noted that OnePlus will accept entries only in English and that you will need to share your impressions with unboxing and a thorough review with the OnePlus community after receiving the OnePlus 6T unit. In addition, the company reserves the right to contact more than 10 participants for further examination during the selection period.

As we have mentioned, this is not the first time that OnePlus has hosted the Lab program to give quick access to its next flagship product. The company organized the first edition of its Lab program in May 2016, when preparing for the launch of OnePlus 3. Earlier this year, the Lab OnePlus 6 edition was also announced to give some customers the chance to experience the OnePlus 6.

In addition to announcing the Lab program, OnePlus has released a new introductory video suggesting the presence of a built-in fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 6T. The five-second video shows the hexagonal "T" logo and displays a message saying "Unlock the future". This highlights the advanced fingerprint recognition technology already deployed on smartphones by companies such as Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi, among others. In addition, a screenshot recently shared by OnePlus has highlighted the appearance of the integrated fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 6T lock screen.

If we believe some recent reports, the OnePlus 6T will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED optical screen with the same Full HD + resolution as on the OnePlus 6. The smartphone should also be equipped with a SoC Snapdragon 845, associated with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. A recent leak suggests that the OnePlus 6T will come with a larger 3,700mAh battery than the 3,300mAh available on the OnePlus 6. The company is about to drop a 3.5mm headphone jack to let the place for the battery pack.
