Nintendo Switch Online will be launched tomorrow, September 18th. In recent days, we have learned a little more about the new features of the service and their impact on the games in question.

If you exit the program, these backups are no longer guaranteed. This is not surprising, but it's a shame, since the Switch does not allow you to back up your backup files yourself. For comparison, the PS4 system retains cloud backups for up to six months after the PS Plus subscription expires, and the Xbox does not require a paid subscription.
NES games supplied with Switch Online can be used offline for up to seven days.
