As the next community day of Pokemon Go is fast approaching, Niantic has shared some more details about the upcoming event. The featured Pokémon at this month's Community Day will be the classic Squirtle starter, and now we have learned that some players will be able to find a special version of the Pokémon when they complete research quests.
Niantic revealed on Twitter that players who perform field search tasks during the community day will have a chance to meet a Squirtle wearing sunglasses – a reference to the squirtle squad of the Pokemon animated series. It's unclear whether players will need to perform specific quests to find a Squirtle wearing sunglasses, but a new set of field-based search tasks focused on Pokémon in the Kanto area have recently been added to the game.
In addition to Squirtle wearing sunglasses, players will likely have a chance to find a brilliant Squirtle during this week's event, as each previous community day included brilliant versions of its Pokémon. In addition to this, a Squirtle who moves to Blastoise before the end of the community day will learn the powerful Hydro-Cannon Water-type movement.

At last Players participating in this month's Community Day will be able to take advantage of the other bonuses in play. During the event, the eggs hatch at a quarter of the distance they usually need. All lure modules that are activated during the event will also last three hours, as opposed to their usual 30-minute limit.
