The "Pokémon Go" community day weekend is reminiscent of previous Pokémon and exclusives.

Niantic announced a surprise weekend for the community Pokemon Go to begin the month of December.

Starting November 30th at 4:00 pm EST and ending December 3rd at 2:00 am EST, Pokémon presented at previous Community Day events will appear throughout the weekend. In addition, the exclusive movements they learned from past events will be available. This is the perfect time to catch these rare Pokémon and teach them some of the most powerful attacks of the game.

If you already own all these Pokémon and their exclusive attacks, attractive bonuses will be offered. Niantic revealed that players can earn double points of experience and Stardust for catching Pokemon. Incubators will also be twice as effective as normal.

However, these bonuses in play will only work three hours on the same day this weekend. For North America, Pokemon Go players can enjoy it between 14h and 17h EST on Saturday, December 1st.

To refresh your memory, here are the old Community Day Pokémon and the exclusive gesture everyone will learn as they evolve:

Bulbasaur – Plant of frenzy

Charmander – Blast Burn

Squirtle – Canon Hydro

Pikachu – Surf

Eevee – Last Resort

Dratini – Draco Meteor

Chikorita – Factory of frenzy

Cyndaquil – Blast Burn

Mareep – Dragon Pulse

Larvitar – Smackdown

Beldum – Meteor Mash

As in previous community days, Pokémon captured before the event can still learn the exclusive movement in the window. Players will have even more time to find the best Pokémon to evolve because the window of the event is much longer this time around.

Shiny versions of Pokémon Community Day will likely have a higher spawn percentage during the event, although Niantic has not officially confirmed it. Pokémon will not show up in their brilliant form in the Pokemon Go overworld, but players will immediately know if they have encountered one by the color change as well as by the star symbol that appears on the names of the Pokémon Brillants.

We will update this section as soon as we know more.
