There are only a few months left before Pokmon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee do not come to Switch, and today, we had another look (achu) to the games.
One of the main selling points of the Let's Go players is that they will be able to transfer their Pokmon Pokmon Go into new games. These Pokmon will be kept in Go Parks, and according to the press release, there will be 20 of these parks in a larger Go Park complex, outside the city of Fuchsia (site of the Safari zone in the original games). Each Go Park can hold 50 Pokmon, which means you can hold up to 1000 PoGo creatures in Let's Go anytime.
But it will not be as simple as a migration from the old school. During a Q & A session with Junichi Masuda, the director confirmed that PoGo Pokmon was not going to "go straight into your collection" and that he had to be caught in the complex.
The only Pokmon that you will not be able to catch immediately are the legendary ones. These do not go without a fight – literally, because you will have to fight them before capturing them. Looks like we'll have some work for us.
Although there is a strict limit to the total number of Pokemon PoGo that Let's Go can hold, the source of these Pokemon seems to be more flexible. The press release states that there is "no limit to the number of Pokemon Go accounts that can be linked to a single backup file, so you can also receive Pokmon from your friends and from your friends. family". I guess it works too if you are a hardcore PoGo player with multiple accounts (without naming any names).
When you collect 25 Pokemon in a park, you can play a special mini-game to collect more candies. Just watch the video of someone who is trying to collect these Pikachus. I wonder how to call a group of Pikachus. A kid? A swarm? Someone help me here.
Whatever the case may be, as mentioned before, sweets will allow players to generate specific stats such as speed and defense – much like vitamins in older line games. If you want a strong Pokmon team, you'd better practice your Pikachu breeding skills for the November 16th outing.
