The PUBG update introduces a new filing system: here's how it works

The PlayerUnknown battlefields, commonly known as PUBG, have just received a major update with Patch 22 from PUBG. We have already talked about the new anti-cheat system provided with the update to combat cheating on the platform, PUBG Corp has also introduced a new filing system for users.

With the new ranking system, players will start each season with 10 ranking matches to establish their initial ranking. Although this has already been observed in other competitive games, PUBG's new grading system will feature eight different levels: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, elite, master and grandmaster. In this, Grandmaster will be the highest level while bronze will be the lowest rank. There will also be a Top 100 World Ranking for each level.

"Each of the 8 ranks represents a range of total PRs earned during the current season. At the beginning of a new season, RP will be reset and you will enter the ranking matches again to determine your new starting ranking, which takes into account your final ranking from the previous season. The ranks will be won and lost as you cross their point threshold, without any additional qualifying match being required to move to the next rank, "said the PUBG group in its latest Dev: Rank System Beta letter.

On how PUBG players will be promoted to the next level, PUBG Corp explained that if a diamond level player wins a game with at least eight kills, he / she will get 30 RPs. However, if a diamond player wins a game with only one kill, he / she will have 20RP.

That said, if a PUBG player finishes a game in the last place, he will also lose 20 RP. In total, the amount of RP you receive and lose will depend on Player's performance in the PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG).
