Razer's new Nari Ultimate wireless headset vibrates with loud sounds to create a more immersive gaming experience. The "HyperSense" haptic technology has been developed alongside Lofelt, a company you may remember for its wrist-mounted subwoofer, and converts audio signals directly into tactile feedback. Razer says it improves your stance with its "multidimensional" haptic feedback.
With its striking haptic feedback, the Nari Ultimate also integrates the same THX Spatial Audio support that we saw for the first time with the Kraken Tournament Edition. The headset works in both wired and wireless mode and is compatible with all major platforms including PC, Mobile, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Razer is not the first manufacturer to experiment with a vibrating headset. Last year's Skullcandy Crusher Wireless earphones also sparked haptic reactions, with a focus on music rather than games. If you're the kind of person who likes how heavy bass seems to almost break your mouth at concerts, you might see the call, but personally, I do not want that feeling to get close to my sensitive ears.
The Razer Nari Ultimate is available for $ 199.99 from now, while two cheaper models that omit haptic feedback will follow later in the year for $ 149 and $ 99.99.
