The Samsung Galaxy S9 + will get the Galaxy Note 9 Stage Optimizer with Android Pie

It's been two months since Google released the stable version of Android Pie, the latest version of its popular mobile operating system. Many Android builders are already working hard to incorporate the new version of Android to all their (eligible) smartphones, including the largest manufacturer, Samsung.

Samsung is preparing Android Pie for many of its flagship smartphones, including Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy Note this year. The chaebol is also working on Samsung Experience 10, the latest version of its custom user interface overlay, which will overflow Pie. As the update comes to an end, we can expect some features of Samsung's most powerful smartphone, the Galaxy Note 9, to become "classic" flagship products such as Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + .

According to a report by XDA developersSamsung is currently working on integrating the 'Scene Optimizer' feature of the Note 9 camera into the S9 duo. The information comes from a Discord user, who shared a screenshot of the feature with XDA developers.

Speaking of Scene Optimizer, it uses the capabilities of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of captured images, automatically recognizing the environment in which the user is located. As the report indicates, the feature supports 20 different scenes, ranging from portraits to night stunts.

According to previous versions of Samsung Experience 10 / Android Pie, the company is also focusing on integrating the Note 9's fault detection function with the S9 and S9 + models. As its name indicates, Fault Detection can check if the captured images have problems (eg, flashing eyes, lens flashes on the camera) using Machine Learning.
