The Seasonal Assassin's Creed Odyssey Pass includes the AC3 remaster and new DLC story missions

The next installment of Ubisoft's infiltration series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, will be launched in just a few weeks on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In anticipation of its release, the publisher has announced its DLC plans for the game, and they include a significant amount of free and paid content to arrive later this year and in the next.

In the absence of a new Assassin's Creed game in 2019, Ubisoft will support Odyssey with a steady stream of post-launch content. First, the publisher will publish additional missions free of charge entitled The Lost Tales of Greece. These missions will be published "regularly" between the paid DLC episodes of the game and "will present familiar faces and new characters from the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey," according to Ubisoft.

In addition to this, all players will be able to participate in daily and weekly contracts, and a new epic ship or mercenary will appear weekly. Ubisoft will also launch a free discovery mode like the one added in last year's title, Assassin's Creed Origins, which will allow players to explore the game world and learn more about Ancient Greece without facing enemies or quests. A new Game Plus mode and other content elements, such as new mythical creatures to fight, are also under study.

Those who purchase the Assassin Season Pass & Creed will receive even more content. First, Season Pass owners will have access to two "major" scenarios, divided into three episodes. The first bow, called Legacy of the First Blade, will begin in December and "will introduce players to the first hero to use the iconic hidden blade." The second floor, The Fate of Atlantis, kicks off in the spring of 2019 around the legendary sunken city.

In addition to this, players who purchase the Season Pass will receive two sets of Remastered Assassin's Creed: Assassin's Creed III and its previous spin-off to Vita, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation. The seasonal package costs $ 40 and is also included in the Gold, Ultimate, Spartan and Pantheon editions of the game. You can read more about each of these items in our Assassin & # 39; s Creed Odyssey pre-order guide.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is coming out on October 5th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Ubisoft recently shared the minimum and recommended PC game specifications. Unlike previous episodes of the series, Assassin's Creed Odyssey places much more emphasis on player choice – both for better and for worse, as we learned from our recent participation in the game.
