The seventh Gwent Open tournament is live and you can win cards by watching

The full version of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is scheduled for this month. This weekend, you will see the best players in the world compete in tournament mode in the seventh Gwent Open, which starts today and ends with the semifinals. final Sunday.

Gwent started his video game life as an interesting little diversion in The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, but CD Projekt incorporated it into his own standalone game. Naturally, there are players who take it very seriously, and some have even become pros.

Eight of them will compete this weekend: Freddybabes (United Kingdom), GameKingAT (Austria), radu.andrada (Romania) and Nujwk (Spain) will join four players from Witcher (Poland) – Adzikov, kacper322, TailBot and kams134. They are not only competing for the title of World Champion – there is a $ 25,000 purse on the line, plus a guaranteed seat at the next Gwent Challenger.

The tournament is live on the official Twitch and YouTube channels of CD Projekt Red. If you log in via Twitch, you can earn in-game rewards for Gwent (just make sure you're signed in). Viewers will receive card casks, as well as the winner's favorite card and other prizes.
