First, we can now confirm that the Honor Magic 2 is a slider phone, as shown by the videos shared by celebrities supposedly well paid. To reveal the front cameras at the top (I see at least two), simply slide the screen down with your thumb; and vice versa.
According to singer Jiacheng Wu, the sliding mechanism was "very good" (but of course, he would say it) – so good that the celebrity Enqi Zhong sang on a rhythm composed of the click of the cursor (wow). Honor's TikTok channel even created a rhythm by clicking on the phone and hitting it on the table. Enjoy.
And then there is the back of the phone that has not been shown before. As shown by Zhong's video and Zanilia Zhao's photo above, this "first high-end edition", Magic 2, has a gradient mirror ranging from red to purple, as well a triple camera similar to that of Huawei's P20 Pro. But in case you could not distinguish the two phones without turning them over, Honor moved the LED flash up and down.
Another photo of Zhao also highlights the vocal assistant of Honor, Yoyo, which is however probably reserved for Chinese-speaking users. Apart from that, there is no word on the other features or specifications of the device, but since the Magic series is supposed to show the latest tips from the Honor smartphone, it's reasonable to Wait for some flagship specs here.

Honor's next slide phone will not be the last of its kind. The Xiaomi Mix 3 – to be launched in Beijing this Thursday – also seems to have the same sliding screen design without a notch. In fact, it's the Magic 2 IFA teaser that prompted Xiaomi's chairman, Lin Bin, to immediately unveil its similar device, which was very unusual for this company. The cheeky executive even wrote: "Sorry, they are alike." Hey, at least Xiaomi has not (yet) made stupid videos with her new phone.
