The special iPhone X screen that everyone loves is finally available on iPhone XR – BGR

The Apple iPhone XR is available online and in stores since last Friday, and it already seems like it will be a huge seller for Apple. There are not really long queues at Apple's stores this weekend, but Apple's biggest insider in the world has reported that demand for pre-orders is very strong. Some trendy Wall Street analysts believe that the iPhone XR could even become Apple's best-selling iPhone during this product cycle, which makes sense. The iPhone XR is certainly not "cheap", but it starts at $ 749, while the cheapest iPhone XS will cost you $ 1,000. The most impressive, perhaps, is the fact that the iPhone XR offers the same type of power and speed as the more expensive iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. It is powered by the same A12 Bionic chipset and has essentially the same specifications. It's also a huge threat to all of Android's flagship phones because it's a lot more powerful, much faster and even cheaper.

If you're one of the many people who have already got their hands on a new iPhone XR, you'll definitely enjoy it now. You have probably also taken your time to choose the perfect color because there are many options. Well, we have good news for you this morning: the "Notch wallpaper" specially designed for iPhones has finally been updated and is now available for the iPhone XR.

Remember when the iPhone X was announced last year and everyone started to panic about how much he hated it? Heck, even we hated the look when we saw it for the first time. Then, when you get the new iPhone in your hands, you do two things. First of all, the notch actually has a pretty cool look and it's fine that the screen extends up to the top corners of the phone. And second, you do not even notice the notch after using the phone for a while.

The design of the notch is still a central part of Apple's iPhone designs this year, and some people like to show it. In fact, many people like to show it! Graphic designer Hideaki Nakatani, who is @heyeased on Twitter, is best known for the senseless wallpapers for iPhone that he made in 2016. The most popular was undoubtedly the crazy black wallpaper that made disappear the bottom of the dock and the files of the iPhone. It sounded incredible on the Jet Black iPhone 7 and the matte black model, but Apple then corrected the small bugs in iOS that made these wallpapers possible. Fortunately, Nakatani decided to turn his attention elsewhere and create other types of wallpaper for iPhone.

Its most popular wallpaper at the present time is a special series of wallpapers that were made for the iPhone X last year and then updated last month for the IPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. These beautiful wallpapers are mostly black, so they show deep blacks for which OLED panels are appreciated, while preserving battery life, since black does not cause illumination pixels on OLED screens. Second, they really show the notch perfectly because they have a thin border that surrounds the edges of the screen. Here's what it looks like on the iPhone XR:

But wait, the Nakatani wallpaper is not available for the iPhone XR, you say. Good news: it's now! The graphic designer sent us an email to announce that he now possessed a collection of notched wallpapers of all colors, tailor-made for the screen of the iPhone XR. Plus, they are in the exact colors offered by Apple on the iPhone XR so you can match it perfectly.

As always, this new collection is completely free and downloadable from the Nakatani website. Just make sure that when you apply them, choose "Fixed" and not "Perspective" and avoid resizing at all. You can also find versions for iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max here.
