The trademarks of Konami Files 'Metal Gear', but do not be too excited

Metal gear Fans have asked Konami to do something – hell, every kind – to redo their favorite games to be able to listen to them on their consoles, but, alas, there was nothing planned. But now, an interesting trademark has been filed, letting fans ask, "Wait, could he?" as well excited for the moment …

Metal gear

A Twitter user named Andrew Marmo (@the_marmolade) found a pair of brands recently deposited by Konami for Metal gear and Metal Gear Solid, and they were recently completed on October 25, 2018.

As you can see, the trademarks were registered by Konami Digital Entertainment Co., which seems to have noted something like "Application under review".

But before panicking and leaving, "AHHHH! It's coming back! Keep two things in mind. First of all, according to this link, it was confirmed that Konami is not to have something new in the works. As bad as we want it. (In addition, Hideo Kojima no longer works for them, so unless someone like Bluepoint – who worked on The shadow of the colossus for PS4 – cooked something, it seems very unlikely.)

Secondly, Marmo continued this trend after talking to a friend, and thinks the brands are destined for something else, namely references to classic games.

That's right, the original Metal Gear Solid is on the PlayStation Classic (cue the people "beats nothing") and we know that Snake is included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimateso it has a certain weight.

Konami made surprise us unexpectedly earlier this season when he published Requiem de Castlevania: Symphony of the night + Rondo of blood to match with the second season of the Castlevania anime series on Netflix. But unless something major is planned with Sony, you probably should not expect to see you Metal Gear Solid return. Sorry, fans … we want it too.

But at least we have Jordan Vogt-Roberts's film on the road. All eyes on that!
