Two new models of iPad Pro with USB-C, better screens, a new-design Apple pencil and refreshed Macs will come to the Apple event on October 30, but the only thing that's going to happen is Apple. Ming-Chi analyst Kuo suspects that a mini-refresh for iPad will be available soon.

In a note seen by AppleInsider TF Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo reiterates some of his earlier reflections on the October event. He still plans to update the iPad Pro he's been talking about for about three months, as well as a new model of cheap laptop, with the possibility that new processors for the models existing ones get new processors.

However, the possibility of a new iPad mini in 2018 is not mentioned previously. In Tuesday's note, the analyst predicts that a "new iPad mini equipped with an upgraded processor and a lower-cost panel" is coming, but also says that the firm not sure if this will be announced during the event. Kuo gives no publication schedule when he does not show up at the event.

Also not clear is the pricing. Apple's current low-end iPad, revealed early in the year, is already selling for $ 329. The iPad mini 4 is still available, is currently selling at $ 399 for 128GB of storage and still has the A8 processor.

Regarding the Mac, Kuo thinks the MacBook, iMac and Mac mini models should be updated. But, the magnitude of these updates is not clear, yet. Rumors about an update or a cheap MacBook Air overhaul have been swirling since March.

Kuo continues to expect the new AirPods and the AirPower charger to ship by the end of 2018 or early 2019. This is not a new revelation, but the analyst has been saying it since September.

According to rumor, the iMac 5K would have a more powerful screen. The latest rumors regarding the Mac mini suggest that it will benefit from a "professional" upgrade, but it is unclear exactly what this means.

After an introduction in 2012 and annual updates for the next three years, the Apple iPad Mini range has not been updated since the release of the iPad Mini 4 in the fall of 2015. A report released end of August by another source suggested that would not see an update in 2018.
