This Hellcat 714hp bulletproof is a police car that Bond would be proud of

The Dodge SRT Hellcat Charger is rarely a shy and casual car, but the 714-horsepower sedan looks even more striking after receiving the armor treatment for a lucky law enforcement team. Armormax manual work, it leaves the muscle because V8 totally bullet-proof, besides it's able to electrocute people via its door handles.

Indeed, Armormax's list of improvements reads as James Bond and Batman got together and shared notes on how to maximize their respective vehicles, with some additional contributions from the Mad Max cast. In addition to bullet-proof glass and opaque armor for any interior, the Hellcat also benefits from powerful protection against rifles. Armormax says that he should even resist grenades.

There are gas masks inside, which can deploy in case of chemical attack, and an anti-smoke screen for the outside. Armormax has equipped electrified door handles, in case someone refuses to let go of them, and there are hidden ram bumpers. Against ridicule, there is a needle dispenser to destroy the rubber of other drivers.

That should not happen to the Armormax Hellcat, though, thanks to the flat tires. There is also additional protection against radiators, as well as an anti-theft hatch grille. "Blinding lights", a hundred strobe lights and a siren PA intercom system complete the package.

Impressively, Armormax says that despite the upgrades, the car's performance has changed little in relation to the stock. You can still open the windows, even. In addition, with the Charger Hellcat 2018 equipped with a 6.4-liter V8, it is perhaps not surprising that it is still a very fast car.

The company says it's the world's first Hellcat armored vehicle and that all upgrades were designed and installed in Ogden, Utah, where Armormax is based. What this does not confirm is which law enforcement agency provided the donor's vehicle and paid for the changes, and to what extent he reinstated the agency.
