This is our best look at the moment on the LG V40 ThinQ – BGR.

Android is on the verge of a good month, with October posting new ads on smartphones from some of the biggest Android players. Google, Samsung, LG, Huawei, Nokia and OnePlus will unveil new phones next month. Most of them will be flagship handsets and most of them have been leaked a lot. Now we can add LG's new iPhone XS alternative to the mix of devices that have leaked.

The LG V40 ThinQ is the phone in question, and it will be the first new Android phone to be launched next month, with an announcement scheduled for October 3.

But thanks to Evan Blass, we now have a press release of the LG V40, which confirms its design and its main features:

As you can see in the picture above, we are looking at an all-screen smartphone, which is practically the norm nowadays. It has a notch at the top, but it is cleverly hidden. But make no mistake, the notch is there. Just check the status bar that shows AT & T as the carrier on the left and a notification on the right side of the notch. The lower chin is still there, but it looks even finer than the top bezel.

The signature feature of the LG V40 will likely be the three-lens camera on the back. LG opts for a horizontal rather than vertical camera configuration, as in the Huawei P20 Pro. Huawei will also launch in October a new triple cam phone, the Mate 20 Pro, which will have a square configuration. On the front, the phone has two cameras.

The fingerprint sensor is also in the back, meaning the phone will not have a built-in sensor for some of its competitors.

Finally, the phone has an extra button on the side, which will probably be used to call Google Assistant.

We have no idea when the LG V40 ThinQ will reach stores or how much it will cost, but we'll know it soon.
