I call it, it's the best deal of this year's Black Friday season, for the players anyway. It's amazing. It's spectacular. Sony sells a PlayStation 4 Slim with the new $ 199 Spider-Man game. C & # 39; way too little money.
The 1TB slim PS4 is currently priced at $ 300, which was the cost of the 500GB. So a $ 199 price for the enhanced console, with a terabyte capacity, would already be good deal. But throw Spider-Man? I'm not usually one to call out individual details for Black Friday (we'll have a roundup), but that's ridiculous.
This game was released a short time ago and has attracted rave reviews. Many TechCrunch staff have lost dozens of hours and extensions are about to go even further. Most places are priced at full price, so it's still $ 50 or $ 60.
I already have a PS4 and I will do it. The update of Slim has not changed much, but it is quieter, easier to use (more invisible buttons!) And, of course, much smaller. Getting for $ 139 is a no-brainer. Comes with a controller too, obviously. Then I exchange the old and recovers Tetris Effect through in-store credit!
For comparison, Microsoft and Nintendo offer their basic consoles with a popular game built in $ 299. Obviously, Sony is looking to eat his lunch.
Of course, you could also save your money for a PS4 Pro. But the benefits there, although I would not call them anything at all doubtful, are not really necessary for most players. Red Dead Redemption 2 is not going to look this much better unless you have a 4K HDR setup and all that jazz. If you like AAA games and the best possible graphics, go for it, but the rest of us who would prefer to buy 4 or 5 extra games with the money saved? Slim is.
There is also a $ 200 PSVR package and the controllers are also cheaper. But the Slim is obviously the centerpiece here. You will have to go to the "participating retailers" and probably fight against people like me to get the deal that will be online November 18 like any other.
