Surely you remember the fateful week when the big day of Google was ruined – when Russian bloggers revealed the Pixel 3 phone to the world in all its glorious details? We still do not know how, exactly, a lot of phones fell into their hands, but this just happened again: Russian technical blog Rozetked says you're watching the first images of "Pixel 3 Lite".

And unless our eyes deceive us, this phone comes with a real headphone jack.

According to the publication, this Pixel 3 Lite features a 56 cm, 2220 x 1080 pixel IPS screen, a plastic case and a Snapdragon 670 processor, which would make it a perfect fit. cheaper Pixel but probably not smaller.

The existing Pixel 3 also has a 5.5-inch display – but Google's flagship product, with an unprecedented cost, is $ 800 and has a more expensive OLED screen that is closer to the screens of the Galaxy S9 from Samsung and the iPhone XS, according to Dieter's test in Pixel 3.

There are reasons to take this leak with a grain of salt, even if Rozetked was the first publication to bring us an eruption of the Pixel 3 XL, and even though a cheaper pixel has long been said to be in development.

First, it bugs me to think that the logo on the back of the phone looks fake. It's supposed to be a G, not a C, as the previous images of the Pixel 3 XL who leaked clearly show.

I also wonder if this makes any strategic sense for Google: would he want to start a new round of visits on the missing headphone jacks, after first being mocked by Apple for letting them go falling down, then being slaughtered for dropping the plug themselves in Pixel 2?

In addition, do not forget that Rick Osterloh, Google's hardware manager, was the first to stifle the first rumors of a cheaper pixel in March 2017, with the words "Pixel stay premium".

Businesses and citizens can of course change their minds. And the code name Sargo actually appears in the code of Google's ARCore app, according to Android font. But we need more evidence.
