THQ Nordic takes over the kingdoms of Amalur IP by continuing to buy

It's been a long time since we heard the name Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The RPG was supposed to launch an epic series including an MMO, but the developer 38 Studios closed soon after the release of Reckoning. Since then, the Kingdoms of Amalur the series has remained inactive, with no indication that we will ever see it again.

Enter THQ Nordic, who announced today that he has acquired the rights of the Kingdoms of Amalur IP of 38 studios. Not only does this include the rights to the franchise and the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning name but it also includes the rights of Copernic Project.

Does this acquisition mean that THQ Nordic will end Copernic Project and release him after all these years?
