Destiny 2 Players can jump into the new Forsaken raid, called Last Wish, at 1pm. EDT 14 September. Here is a summary of the main details you need to know before training your squad.
What is the minimum power level for the last wish?
Bungie recommends teams be at power level 550 or higher to have the best chance of finishing the last wish. That's 50 levels below the new Forsaken level limit of 600. In other words, you will have to experience many new Forsaken activities before being considered ready for the Raid.
Here are some tips to help you get over the 500 plateau:
- Do not forget to manage your equipmentThe infusion has become a fairly expensive process with the launch of Forsaken. You need to focus on using the equipment in your inventory and infusing when you're ready to get into an exceptionally big event like a night's sleep.
- The dream city: Most of your top gear is sold to sellers and won through Dreaming City NPCs. Start making these Petra and Spider Bounties bonuses and you will eventually get the drops you need.
- The secret of first engrams You can start winning Prime Engrams by talking to Cryptarch. These engrams act as a temporary buff, and they fall once a day. The best way to get the following is to kill a lot of high level enemies at public events. The drops will appear sometimes also in your postmaster. These look like a traditional legendary Engram, so do not deprive yourself of it by assuming that gout is not useful.
- PvP ranksOnce you have killed yellow bars in PvE, you should also do your best to rank in Gambit, Quickplay and Competitive. Every time you reach a new ranking, you get a high-end equipment.
- Remember the new daily challenges: These last four days, so there is a brief window to allow you to do them with secondary or tertiary characters.
- The nightfall: Talk to Zavala to get your weekly assignments, and you'll soon realize that the Nightfall is a great way to progress. If you enter a level 50 mission, the equipment lost is only five levels below your current threshold. This is useful for filling a lower gear category in your inventory or for quickly upgrading other characters.
No matter how you cut it, going up to 550 will not be easy. If you are not ready to play Last Wish on the first day, it's totally ok. Take your time and you will eventually get there.
