The beta version of Fallout 76 continues, but if you're reading this, you probably will not be able to play it. Indeed, Bethesda only has its servers at certain times; trying to enter outside these specific windows will produce a "login failed" error. Below we have all the details you need to know about when exactly you can play. At the time of writing these lines, the next test – the last – is taking place today, November 8, and will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Read on for the exact times.
The first test of Fallout 76 was only available on Xbox One during a four-hour window on October 23rd. It has since passed, Bethesda saying it was an "unbelievable start". Additional test periods will continue to be available for a limited time. The purpose of this operation is to force players together at a specific time to perform resistance tests and put the game to the test. The sessions usually lasted between 2 and 8 hours on a given day, and then the beta version would be unusable again until the next session.
A beta code is available for everyone who has pre-ordered the game on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. Preloading is available on all platforms. You will receive a code with your physical pre-order to enter the accounts page or you will automatically be entered into the pool if you pre-order a digital copy.
