The Progressive Web Application of Twitter (PWA) is one of the most popular, powering mobile site, Twitter for Windows and the Twitter Lite app for Android. And now, it seems that the social media giant is ready to bring that experience to its full office site – or at least in its infancy.
Twitter announced today that it is testing a "new Twitter for the Web" with a small group of users. The updated experience takes advantage of the company's PWA technology, bringing bookmarks and the "Explorer" page to your desktop browser.

The fact that Twitter weighs heavily against such an expansion of the new experience is an encouraging sign for ACPs. This change comes as Microsoft also focuses on the future of PWA as an adaptive native application solution for a range of devices, even publishing them in the Microsoft Store.
For now, the new Twitter on the desktop Web is limited to a small subset of users. However, you can preview this experience using Windows 10 PWA or by navigating to the Twitter mobile site in a desktop browser.
