According to new reports, iPhone owners running iOS 12 are facing two serious problems.
Credit: Tom's GuideFirst of all, people from Piunika Web have discovered that iPhone users were having problems with their devices after updating to iOS 12. According to the report, when users access the iPhone, it is not a problem. application Messages on iPhone, some find that the operating system merges contacts. and discuss together and, in some cases, invite others to view text messages and phone calls that are not intended for them.
"All iPhone users are experiencing this new problem (since the last update) where iMessage continues to merge two unrelated message threads with totally different people or how to resolve them?" a Twitter user asked. Similar questions have been asked on the Apple support pages and elsewhere.

The problem is apparently related to a new feature of iOS 12 that creates threaded messages when a person has multiple contact numbers. Instead of having to access text messages from different threads from the same person who might be sending you SMS from different numbers, the new feature aims to gather them.
According to Piunika Web, the problem could be related to people who share their Apple IDs with others. And in some cases, when everyone has set up unique Apple IDs, the problem has been solved by itself. In other cases, however, it has not been corrected.
In the meantime, those who have an iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max have another problem.
According to a MacRumors report, some homeowners report that handsets do not charge when their displays are off and they are plugged in. Once the users have woken up, the handsets start charging. According to the report, other users say they need to unplug the smartphone, reactivate the screen and reconnect it before their iPhone charges.
It is not clear at the moment what the problem might be, although some are wondering if the restricted USB mode of the iPhone could be the culprit. It does not allow USB accessories to connect to Apple handsets through the Lightning connector if they have been off for more than an hour.
For its part, Apple has not publicly commented on these two problems. And for the moment, nothing says when they could be corrected. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
