In the US, Samsung has launched a pair of new 2-in-1 devices that offer LTE connectivity to users who need a mobile PC that is always connected, but do not necessarily want to buy a high-end laptop.

It is powered by an Intel Celeron processor and comes with a built-in stylus that never needs to be recharged. You also have front and back cameras, as well as a 12.2 "WUXGA FHD LED display.

"By developing our 2-in-1 portfolio and adding LTE connectivity, we ensure that consumers can stay connected on the mobile computing device, allowing them to do more and express their creativity," said Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President. and Managing Director of Samsung Electronics America.
In a recent article on the Samsung blog, Cotton said the company wanted the demand for Chrome OS to continue to grow, which would translate into building its portfolio with new Chromebooks, among other options. Along with this, the company believes that such devices are particularly perfect for consumers who want to stay connected constantly and not have to worry about looking for a nearby Wi-Fi signal. It will also appeal to consumers who are looking for a laptop that starts almost instantly, has built-in antivirus protection, and is a competent pipeline for the web applications and services they want and need.
