People love to embark on the different benefits of Apple CarPlay compared to Android Auto. For a long time, Android had a big advantage in that users could use navigation on Google Maps while Apple users Apple Maps. Now, with iOS 12, this playground is a little moreso how do they behave?

What they discovered was interesting, but some of the competition was skewed by the way Mazda chose to integrate Android Auto. For some reason, Mazda has not allowed the use of the touch screen with Android Auto, but with Apple CarPlay, which lets Android users get by with the wheel of scrolling.
A major disadvantage for Apple that we see in the video is that even though you can now use Google Maps via CarPlay, you can not ask Siri to give you instructions. It is still used by default Apple Maps – even if you have deleted it from your phone. While we understand that Apple has spent a lot of money developing its Maps program, we would like users to have the option to select their own default mapping program.
In the end, the two systems seem equal in most areas, but Apple still seems to be leading the number of vehicles supporting the CarPlay platform compared to vehicles that support Android Auto. As the Straight Pipes point out, if you have an Android phone and you own a Porsche or a BMWyou are not lucky at the moment.
