We have some suggestions for the PlayStation Classic

[ad_1]

Capcom closed the Dead Rising development studio, we know someone who played Red Dead Redemption 2, one of us played a lot of Forza Horizon 4, Nintendo finally let us pay $ 20 for NES games on Switch, and Sony announced that they were releasing a PlayStation mini baby. If this is a current topic on video games, we talk about it with raw and uncensored details this week on Kotaku XP.

By "raw and uncensored", of course, none of us say bad words. I mean, personally, I never have. It's just that I did not censor any word either.

This week's announcement is Sony's announcement of a small PlayStation baby. They insist that there will be 20 games, although they have only announced five. They have certainly chosen a handful of interesting games to confirm: Final Fantasy VII, Flash jumping, Ridge Racer 4, Tekken 3, and Wild arms.

In the name of full disclosure: I worked at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan in the early 2000s, at the time of the PlayStation 2. I was not exactly in the marketing department, although I was not exactly in the marketing department. My experience at Sony has left a decades-long impression that Sony's marketing team knows exactly what it's doing.

With this tiny, precious PlayStation Classic, they always know what they're doing. Announcing their intention to ship in 20 games and confirming only five, Sony invites us to publish a long list of what should be the other 15 games. Maybe I will do it.

Listen to me and Gita talk about our own hopes for the PlayStation Classic. LSD: dream emulator? Legend of Dragoon? There are too many good games.

Gita suggests Parappa the rapper, and I think that Sony will certainly include it. I think it's really a shame because the remastering of PlayStation 4's Parappa the rapper is amazing and beautiful. The same goes for Crash Bandicoot. It would be odd if Sony did not crash the PlayStation Classic, but is not there an excellent remaster on each console? These classic consoles are delicate. If it were up to me, they included only obscure and obscure games that no one had heard of. However, this would probably make them less ideal for a Christmas present for a player whose last game was a PlayStation 2.
