Samsung does not have a great year in sales of flagship smartphones. The Galaxy S9 is considered a dull phone, with the same design as last year's model and more powerful hardware. The Galaxy Note 9 follows the same pattern. But the phone in the picture above is not a prototype of the Galaxy S10. It is marked as a Huawei handset. Best of all, this image on Weibo shows the Mate 20 Pro, Huawei's next flagship handset to be unveiled on October 16th.
The phone on the picture looks familiar because we have seen it in similar leaks. This is going to be the best Huawei phone of the year, and easily the best Android phone of 2018, at least on paper. This is because the Mate 20 Pro will deliver everything I mentioned above, according to rumors.
The phone will combine the designs of the Galaxy S9 and iPhone X, the notch housing a face unlocking system that would support 3D face recognition as the face ID. Below the screen, there is a fingerprint sensor, and in the back, we have to discover a new camera configuration with three lenses, different from the one we saw on the P20 Pro. Everyone will be powered by Huawei's new 7nm chip, whose only rival will be the A12 7nm processor in the iPhone Xs range. Aside from the Kirin 980 that Huawei had already announced at IFA a few weeks ago, everything else is from the Mate 20 Pro reports.
That said, it seems that Huawei will start selling a phone later this year that will not only look like a Samsung iPhone X clone, but it will also provide the kind of specs and features that hit Samsung's flagship stores only in 2019.
